The Bioregional Education Guild is a working association that aims to restore cultural relationship with place and regenerate ecosystems by cultivating knowledge, skills and abilities in our communities.
Thanks so much Clare for bringing in the need to decolonize learning and referencing Vanessa’s work and her book Hospicing Modernity which to me feel essential for our work in regeneration and bioregionalism. Clare Attwell, Pam Woodland and I were just at a powerful session with Vanessa and a chief from the Amazon presenting about the indigenous University of the Forest at U. Victoria where she is Chair of the Education department.
