Currently we are undergoing a series of Propagation Fair events where we have teamed up with the Agrarian Sharing Network (ASN) to help with their seed-swap activities; this is noted in greater detail in a dedicated discussion. During the Corvallis event a large seed donation came in as a result of the collector of the collection having passed-on. We are deeply honoured to have been entrusted with such a precious inheritance. There were over 300 varieties of seeds and our seed bank now stands at 1,535 varieties, total.

MemberMarch 26, 2024 at 4:42 pm in reply to: The Cascadia Seed Guild and The Agrarian Sharing NetworkCurrently we are around half way through the ASN Propagation fairs for 2024, hence the photographs shared here. A few days ago ASN was approached by a Widower of a Lady prominent in #Permaculture who had recently passed on. She had amassed a collection of seeds over several years and expressed that they be passed down to others, so that their lineage could continue. We are currently stewarding these seeds so that they can be catalogued. The photograph here shoes the collection and we are currently about half-way through the smaller box after around 8 hours of work.
